We invite you to study at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in the educational programs “POLITICAL SCIENCE” and “POLITICAL SCIENCE. NATIONAL SECURITY” in specialty 052 Political Science in the Field of Knowledge 05 Social and Behavioural Sciences.
A political scientist is a specialist who studies politics as a special social sphere related to power relations and analyses the events of political life. Public function is the main work of a political scientist. It increases the political literacy of citizens. Thanks to the comments of political scientists, they have a clearer idea of what is happening in the country; get an idea of political values and norms.
If you want to change your lifestyle, to take an active civil position, to participate in the development of independent Ukraine, to work in a parliament, government, public authorities and local governments, then the direction of “POLITICAL SCIENCE” is for you. You will receive a bachelor’s degree in “052 Political Science” and then be able to continue your studies in masters, postgraduate studies in the same or related specialties.
Our students are taught by highly qualified lecturers of the Department of Political Science and the Department of Political Institutions and Processes. The departments cooperate with leading universities in Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary and Italy on internships for lecturers, postgraduate students, masters and student exchange. There is also a program of “double diplomas” with leading universities in Europe thanks to signed international bilateral agreements.
