The Department of Political Institutions and Processes was established in August 2015 at the Institute of History, Political Science and International Relations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The department is headed by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vasyl Marchuk.
The department has 2 professors, doctors of historical and political sciences, 6 candidates of sciences, associate professors.
The department provides courses in the history of foreign political doctrines, history of Ukrainian political thought, foreign policy, ethnopolitics, elections and electoral systems, political elite and leadership, political systems theory, etc., as well as a number of disciplines.
